This actually happened to me a few years ago.
I had just finished giving a talk in St. Mary's Ontario and was carrying all my stuff to my van...guitar, boxes of books, briefcase etc. To my left a woman was getting into her car to drive home when she took pity on me and asked, " Do you need help getting it on?" I must have had a shocked look on my face because she soon realized what she had asked. I replied," So far in my life so good, but thanks for being concerned." We both stood there laughing. Humour is everywhere just look for the comedy in your chaos.
